Did you know that you have the right to choose the body shop that repairs your vehicle even when your insurance is covering the cost? The fair claims settlement practices regulations section 2695.8 section e states: “No insurer shall require that an automobile be repaired at a specific repair shop” Your insurance can suggest a shop but if you feel that shop is not up to standard to repair your vehicle then you can choose what repair shop to take it to! If you bring your vehicle to Amato’s Auto Body rest assured it will be repaired by a factory-trained technician. Not only will your vehicle be repaired by a factory-trained technician but depending on your vehicle year you will only receive o.e.m replacement parts. For those of you that don’t know, this means that all the replacement parts going into your vehicle were made in the same factory as the original ones that were damaged.
